Welcome to Waterboro Public Library!
Serving the town of Waterboro, Maine since 1985.
We are so happy to be able to offer Curbside Service beginning Monday, June 1!
We have missed you all!
Although the building remains closed to the public, staff will be working regular library business hours. Curbside Service will be offered one hour after we open and stop one hour before we close. This will give staff time to prepare items for delivery. This is a trial run and we may need to make some adjustments along the way... thank you for being patient.
We are opening up the Book Drop as of June 1 also. Please do not concern yourself with getting everything back at once. There will be no overdue fines. Staff will be emptying the book drop twice a day and all items will be going into quarantine for 72 hours before they are checked back in or loaned out. They will remain on your account until they are checked in after the quarantine time is up.
We are not currently accepting donations so please DO NOT leave them in the Book Drop. We will be handling a large number of returns and do not have the extra space for them now. We ask that you keep them until we can safely plan our next book sale.
The health and safety of staff and patrons is our number one priority. We are paying close attention to the guidance of Governor Janet Mills, the Maine CDC and DECD as well as the Maine State Library in order to keep everyone as safe as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
