New registrations, as well as re-registrations, can be done at Town Hall without having to go to the Department of Motor Vehicle.

To register a vehicle you must have the vehicle identification number, year, model, make, color, optional equipment, current mileage and insurance card. With a new registration you will also need from a dealer the Dealer's Certificate and Application for Title, or from a private sale (from another individual) a Title and Bill of Sale.
