The applications are available for applying for a passport. Items needed:
l 2 identical 2x2 color pictures
l Picture ID
l Certified birth certificate - full size 8 x 10.
l A check or money order made out to US Dept. of State in the amount of $110.00 for passports age 16 and over, under the age of 16 $80.00 If passport is needed to be expedited an additional $60.00 will need to be added.
l A check or made out to the Town of Waterboro in the amount of $25.00
Starting February 1, 2004, personal appearance for all minors applying for U.S. Passports will be required. This includes children under age 16. Both parents are required to sign on applications for minors under 16. The change is being implemented to enhance accurate identification of applications and aid in the prevention of international child abduction and trafficking.
